America is suffering from Post Traumatic News Disorder.  We are barraged with everything that could go wrong, is going wrong and already did go wrong.  Turning on the TV is like hitting yourself on the head.  YES, I heard you.  Yes it’s ugly BUT there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  We WILL bounce back.   Housing markets WILL recover.  Stocks WILL go back up.  America WILL change the way it does business.  We WILL survive – no matter how tough it gets.

For right now, instead of pushing the panic button start thinking about sharing office space, sharing staff, moonlighting, joint venturing or joint marketing.  Does that sound like the end of the world?  If, for right now, we don’t get filet, we’ll get the chicken.  And If we don’t get the chicken, we’ll get the soup.  But we certainly don’t have to torture ourselves while we’re finding ways to move forward.  Take your worry energy and refocus it on forging new alliances, connecting new dots, experimenting with new services, MARKETING in cost efficient ways or creating templates of services that can be replicated.  Our comfort zones have never felt less comfortable.  According to everything I’ve ever learned about growing, that’s a good thing.  So turn off the news and start making yourself new.
