Have you noticed the entrepreneurial world is in an uproar? That we’ve been thrust into this QUEST to find answers?  Is one workshop better than another - is one piece of information more relevant than another? Who is the guide? What do we need to know? How many events and seminars must we attend until it’s all clear?

Next, what is our business model?

How do we make a living?

How many niche markets must we fit into?

How fast do we need to evolve?

How many people do we need to reach?

STOP THE SPINNING!

Everything is NOT important.

Everything is not equal.

Every event will not lead to you business.

So let’s put on the brakes!  Let’s lay a foundation for success together, one step at a time.

1) Have you defined who you are? NOT WHAT YOU DO - NOT YOUR SERVICES, but WHO YOU ARE?

That means, what you stand for, what you believe in, how you treat people - what you give and the value you add to other lives.  That means how people will remember you and why they respect you. Glenn Raines - please chime in!

This is not just tough for you! It’s very tough for me!  Because what I stand for has not been expressed in words. It has been expressed by actions, by the tone and focus of Big Ooga events - through other people’s participation in those events - through their generosity, leadership, expertise and willingness to participate.

It has been demonstrated by my own longing and responsibility for our entrepreneurial community - to say to myself and then out loud,  IT IS UP TO ME.  It is up to YOU.  It is up to US to help each other.

I have been OUTRAGED by the gougers and sharks who will sell you HOPE instead of measurable skills! Big Ooga has held the gate shut to them and that’s why the people who give our programs walk the talk. Period.

But I digress.

So here is the challenge and where I hope you’ll chime in.

Who are you?

Put it down in words. Bring it to this blog and let people either know you or help you put peg 1 into the ground and stop the spinning.
