Norm Brodsky Has The Knack

Of all the business books I’ve read on starting and growing an entrepreneurial business The Knack by Norm Brodsky and Bo Burlingham is the most valuable resource I’ve found.  In fact, it’s so good it ought to be  required reading.  Why?  Because it illustrates, examines, guides and enlightens you on the process and  pitfalls of entrepreneurship.  Not in the way you’d learn it in school, but from the people who are out there doing it.  It’s an inside track on need-to-know info.  So if you’ve got big plans, big energy, great courage, limited resources,  limitted knowledge and limitted experience, you’ll be a notch better for having read this and that much closer to success.

  1. I couldn’t agree more. Norm Brodsky is fabulous. I used to look forward to his columns in Inc. every month. One of busineses was in document destruction- the industry that Steve works in. So, his comments were especially relevant to Steve’s business, Container Essentials. Norm’s advice on running a business is spot-on and not full of the usual grandiouse ideas and puffery that you often read.
