Image via WikipediaThis particular company joined Big Ooga in our earliest stages and it was instant bonding on all sides. Darling people, they just moved into their new Chicago offices and invited me to a meeting.
When I arrived, the building seemed so familiar. The elevator stop seemed so familiar. The walk to their office with titled floor boards seemed so familiar. Then it dawned on me, one of my dearest and oldest friends had occupied an office in this building and perhaps they knew her.
As I walked in their door I asked, “Did you by any chance know my friend, Laura?”
And they answered, “Yes. This was her office.”
What a moment of absolute rightness in a tapestry of work and life.
